Before you see a row, its price is compared with what you charge today. A wrong column, an old list, or a price per pound or per pair is caught and held.

PDF price lists
A PDF has no columns, only text placed on a page. Sheetbreaker reads every page several ways and keeps the rows the readers agree on. A row only two of them agree on waits for you. When they all disagree, an AI model reads that one page, every price it reports must appear word for word on the page, and those rows wait for you too.
Units
Dumbbells at $1.15 a pound, plates by the kilogram, a price for a pair of something you sell one at a time. Sheetbreaker reads the unit and holds the row for you, instead of applying it as the price of one item.
Columns
MSRP, MAP, net, an old list beside the new one. Sheetbreaker compares each price column with what you charge today and takes the one that fits. A column far from your prices, or a cell that shows a different price than it stores, is held.

Up to five readers check each other on a PDF. An Excel file is read twice, and the two must match.

No. Nothing is written until you approve it. Ready rows start selected, rows that need a look wait for you with the reason beside them, and rows that can't be updated are never applied. When Sheetbreaker is not sure which columns hold a sheet's prices, every row waits for your approval.
Neither do we. The AI never writes a price. It can suggest which column is which, and read one PDF page when every other reader fails. Code checks everything it says, every price must come from a cell in your supplier's sheet, and anything the AI touched waits for your approval. It runs on Sheetbreaker's own servers: your sheet is not sent to an outside AI company.
CSV and tab-separated text, Excel (.xlsx, .xlsm, .xls, and the old Excel XML), LibreOffice (.ods), web pages saved as Excel, and text PDFs. Apple Numbers and .xlsb files are converted on our servers first. A scan, a photo, or a locked PDF is not read.
A bulk import needs the file rebuilt into Shopify's columns first, and it trusts every row. Sheetbreaker reads the supplier's file as it is and shows what would change before anything does.
Anything uncertain stays in Review or Problems. You can undo a run. Undo puts back the price stored from before that run, unless the price was changed in Shopify again after the apply.
A text PDF is read by several readers that vote row by row, then reviewed like a spreadsheet. Rows the readers do not agree on wait for you. A scan, a photo, or a password-locked file is not read. If your sheets are scans, say so on the list. That answer is how we see what to build next.
